Jason's birthday..
So Jason turned 25 (youngest associate in our office) and as a colleague, a friend and a cube neighbor, I wanted to give him a little toast..
Jason is really smart. He learns stuff very fast and is able to dig up necessary information, construct his opinions and make a compelling argument in a very efficient manner. I think that is a super quality to have as someone that sits on the investor side, especially as a junior ptofessional, that sees at least 15 new opportunities daily and we need to make decisions quickly. True that sometimes we misjudge and miss out of some very cool deals, but being able to do all of the above in such an efficient manner as Jason does, is quite admirable.
In addition, Jason's one of the most ego-less, unassuming, thoughtful, cooperative individual that takes many initiatives.
I used to feel competitive with him because, you know, we are both some of the many many junior professionals in the VC world with very limited senior positions.. But I give up. Haha.
