Henna on my hand @ an Indian wedding
A very very good buddy of mine is getting married and I got to attend the first Indian wedding of my life.. So amazing, so auspicious, so festive..
Today's event is Sangeet. It originated from how Indian girls get ready, decorating themselves, and it became an entire day event.
It is truly magnificent, so many colors, so much music, so much dancing.. Indians know how to rejoice!
One more thing, the buddy that is getting married.. He is this very very good looking handsome, smart, gentleman who never had a gf.. So I was convinced for 4 years in college that he was gay, but didn't say anything to anyone, didn't ask him any questions because you know that's what good friends do.. You give yourselves privacy.. But it turned out that he only likes gorgeous smart proper Indian girls and he is marrying the best this weekend.. So happy
